Matcha Chia Pudding

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 400ml plant-based milk (e.g. almond, coconut, oat or soy)
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2-3 tsp agave syrup or honey (adjust sweetness)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Fresh fruit (e.g. strawberries, blueberries, banana slices) or nuts for garnish

Implementation:



  1. Mix the matcha with 2-3 tablespoons of the plant-based milk until it is well dissolved and there are no lumps.



  2. In a large bowl, add the remaining milk, chia seeds, agave syrup, and vanilla extract. Pour in the dissolved matcha and mix well to combine.



  3. Let the mixture "stand" for 5 minutes and stir again so that the chia seeds do not stick to the bottom.



  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. The chia seeds will swell and the mixture will become creamy.



  5. Before serving, stir lightly and add fresh fruit or nuts for extra flavor, texture, and nutritional value.
